Overview
This restaurant week is free for participating restaurants, and the initiative is designed to help independent restaurants connect with new diners by eliminating participation fees while giving chefs and owners the freedom to showcase their unique menus and dining experiences.
Epicurean Indy is a volunteer-led nonprofit dedicated to celebrating and elevating Indianapolis' culinary community. By highlighting the voices, stories, and traditions of immigrant and minority chefs, the organization promotes the city's diverse food culture through food, beverages, art, and music. NOW SERVING reflects that mission by creating an accessible opportunity for locally owned restaurants to gain exposure without the financial barriers often associated with promotional events.
Participating restaurants may create their own menus, specials, or dining experiences during the two-week event. Each participating restaurant will be featured on the Epicurean Indy website, making it easier for diners to discover and support local businesses throughout Indianapolis.
"This is us putting our money where our mouth is, except we're not asking restaurants for any money at all," said Youssef Boudarine. "Our goal is simple: make it easier for people to discover the incredible locally owned restaurants that define Indianapolis. If a family tries a new neighborhood restaurant, becomes a regular customer and helps that business grow, then NOW SERVING has done exactly what we hoped it would do."
Registration is open now to all locally-owned restaurants.
