Overview
Art Squared returns. This free, all-ages event highlights all the quirkiness you’d expect in Indy’s historic art district including an Art Fair, Masterpiece in a Day, and a Block Party.
Art Fair is a festival marketplace for over 170 local artists to showcase their creative talents and display items for purchase. Vendor space is strictly reserved for local, Indiana-based artists and creators. Vendors are located on Virginia Avenue, Woodlawn Avenue, Shelby Street and the Fountain Square Plaza.
Masterpiece in a Day is a day-long art competition, where locals, professional artists, students, neighbors, and friends create works of art to be judged for cash prizes. It’s free to participate and open to the public – just bring your favorite supplies and start creating. Day of registration and viewing of entries will be hosted at Square Cat Vinyl. The top 10 pieces can be viewed in The Murphy Arts Center for October’s First Friday in October
