Acclaimed musician, activist, and humanitarian, Michael Franti is set to make 2025 a landmark year with the release of his highly anticipated 14th studio album, Welcome to the Family, available March 28, 2025 via Boo Boo Wax/Thirty Tigers. In celebration of the album, Franti & Spearhead will embark on the Welcome to the Family Tour, a nationwide summer trek focused on spreading unity, connection, and positivity through music.
The Welcome to the Family Tour kicks off in May 2025. Known for his immersive live performances, Franti transforms his concerts into spaces of joy and connection, often performing from the crowd and inviting fans on stage. “This tour isn’t just about the music—it’s about celebrating what really matters: connection, resilience, and finding light even in tough times,” Franti explains.
Franti’s career is defined by his ability to turn hardship into hope, fostering unity through music, activism, and philanthropy. Whether on stage, at his Bali retreat, or through his foundation, his purpose remains the same: to bring people together, lift spirits, and remind us all that we are part of something bigger.
Tickets for the Michael Franti & Spearhead with special guest Allen Stone concert go on sale this Friday, March 28 at 10 a.m. and will be available at npdamp.com and mokbpresents.com. For ticketed shows, the venue is an all ages facility and children ages two and under are permitted for free. Fans can also bring their own lawn chair and blankets.
