Overview

The Indy Eleven is a United Soccer League (USL) club that plays home games at IU Michael A. Carroll Track & Soccer Stadium on the campus of IUPUI adjacent to downtown’s White River State Park.

Why Eleven? The name pays homage to the 11th Indiana Volunteer Infantry Regiment commanded by Lew Wallace as part of the Union Army during the Civil War.

One of the defining characteristics of Indy Eleven matches is the spirit of the Brickyard Battalion, the club’s official support group that leads chants and revelry from the west grandstands to cheer on the “Boys in Blue.”
